Danish Butter Cookies @ TOO MANY RECIPES

I'm finally backkk :DD
Finally survived through mid year exam~
Soooooooo
I'm craving for butter cookies and especially those in blue tins sell in markets are my favourites!
Everytime i'm so excited when i saw there are blue tin cookies at home but only then i realised there are no cookies but threads and needles TT
There are so many recipes online and i hope i can just try all of them ! But i selected some of the famous ones to try :)

His recipe is from a Danish and there is a video too :)

2nd batch

His recipe is recommended by many bloggers!
I will categorise this under 'crunchy' type of cookies.
I halved the recipe and recommend you to increase from 65g of icing sugar to 75g, as it's pretty tasteless to me if there is insufficient sugar.
NOTE: Pls pls use good quality butter like Lurpak as it really affects the cookies a lot

As you can see from the photos, the cookies are not evenly baked as the top are pale.
So i assume it's because of the high temperature at 200C so i decreased to 180C for 2nd attempt and it looks better!

Sufficient sweetness + Good quality butter = Perfect cookie!

2nd Recipe: Christine's Recipe!  (Melt in mouth)

This recipe is time- consuming as compared to other recipes as the dough has to be chilled and shaped nicely~
As i do not have custard powder at home , so i substituted it with milk powder and the cookies turned out be 'milky fragrant' if you understand what i mean lol
It's my personal favourite but it may be too sweet for some people
So this recipe is actually very suitable for children :D

3rd recipe: A recipe that is passed down through generations , from grandmother whom is from Denmark ( My friendsss favourites ) - http://www.grouprecipes.com/30951/homemade-danish-butter-cookies.html

Firstly, i did pipe the batter but it spreads in the oven and turns out to be round shape.
Secondly, instead of butter cookies that you are looking for, it taste more like ' egg biscuit' but nevertheless it is so YUMMY
It really melts in your mouth instantly and is not too sweet, and you will eat one after one hehe
What's different from other recipes is that it calls for baking soda and cream of tartar
Remember not to add too much cream of tartar as it will cause the cookies to be bitter!

Forth Recipe: Ah Mok's recipe ( EASIEST recipe with only 4 ingredients!) - http://ahmok33.blogspot.com/2009/09/3_15.html

It's the easiest recipe that requires only 4 ingredients!
And it taste wonderful as well
It will just melt in you mouth ~~~~

These are the butter cookies recipe i have tried and you have other recipes to recommend , feel free to tell me! :)
