Mushroom Pot @ Orchard Point

It's Sunday! Which means family time and dance time~ Usually every sunday i will go to PA for dance training

But before dance, you need to charge energy :3

So, my mum suggest Mushroom pot

My mum is the kind of person who only eats healthy food, though she might crave for oily, fried food sometimes but she really will control the portion. Thats why her skin is fair omg

BACK TO THE TOPIC, Mushroom pot is basically steamboat with two soup base of your choice, then have varieties of shroomssssssss

NOTE: Although i like to eat mushrooms, but
what we ordered are really too-mushroom that makes us feel like quit eating mushroom for 1 week

You can either choose buffet or ala carte order. We do not eat a lot so we ordered ala carte. To roughly give you the idea of what type of dishes they have, here are the rest of the ala carte menus. There are many more choices but i only took some photos

However, my mum who used to eat this some years ago, said that there are much more choices of mushrooms back then.

We chose Tom Yum and Wild Mushroom Soup base.

I usually dont like Tom yum, cause i afraid that it's too spicy for me. However, i find this tom yum soup is just nice for me, not too spicy, yet sour and a bit of sweetness. It's very appetising.

The Wild Mushroom Soup is somehow a healthier choice, taste a bit like chicken soup. I cant stop scooping it even after i'm very full hehe

The chicken and cellophane noodles ( 冬粉）are my favourite XD

Next, we ordered two house specialities dishes.

蜜桃猴头菇

蘑菇卷

The 蜜桃猴头菇很很很很好吃, very very nice.
But I dont like the 蘑菇卷, the seaweed wrap is very seaweed and the mushrooms inside are tasteless. If you like seaweed very very much, maybe you can give it a try

It's not very crowded but i think there are regular customers coming back, just like my mum

If you like healthy food, you should come down to orchard point and try it out!
